Four card slots where work is done
eGK, HBA, SMC-B and gSMC-KT are located directly at the workstation – no need to go to the central terminal.
PIN entry remains on the device
The PIN is entered at the certified terminal, not on the PC. Comprehensive tamper protection is confirmed by BSI certification.

Designed for ten years of everyday practical use
The card terminal is designed for approximately 300.000 insertion cycles – at 100 insertion cycles per day, this equates to roughly ten years. The keyboard is designed for approximately 20 million keystrokes.

Clear guidance on the display
The graphic display on the terminal shows each step directly on the device. Operation is logically structured and understandable without training.

The eHealth card terminal can therefore be put into operation quickly and easily on the network without complex cabling. The terminal's intuitive operation, combined with excellent typing comfort, ensures speed and efficiency in the workplace.

Note regarding the firmware update
Using the gSMC-KT version 2.1 with the eGK keyboard G87-1505 requires a firmware update (3.3.3). You can download the firmware file from the download center – please refer to the separate installation instructions.
